Capital Safety’s DBI-SALA 1241906 WrapBax 2 Tie-Back Lanyard, is specifically designed to eliminate the confusion regarding tie-back safety, in addition to eliminating the need for a separate anchorage connector. This 6 foot single-leg lanyard comes with a standard snap hook on one end, and a WrapBax2 hook on the other. All DBI-SALA snap hooks are user-friendly with an easy-to-use hook action that is able to be opened with ease, even with gloves on. The special WrapBax2 hook has a capacity of 5,000 pounds from every direction, even the gate.

Without the need for a separate anchorage connector, training and inventory is reduced, and compliance rates rise. Since traditional hooks are not designed to be able to withstand the forces of a fall in a tie-back configuration, this improper use leads to the product failing and ultimately, worker injury. The WrapBax2 hook solves this user-error by being easy to differentiate from standard hooks due to its unique look, which eliminates user confusion and provides 5,000 pounds of strength, even on the gate.

Increased durability is made possible by the heavy-duty webbing on this lanyard. This makes it possible to use this lanyard for tying off on rough surfaces since it is five times more abrasion resistant than standard.

For additional ease of use, the built-in web guide directs the webbing into the open hook for quick connection. Equipped with the EZ-Stop II shock absorber pack, arresting forces are limited to 900 pounds or less. All applicable industry standards, including OSHA, ANSI, and ANSI Z359 are met or exceeded.
