The Roofers' Fall Protection Kit provides you with everything you need to be OSHA compliant on the jobsite at a great price point. The Fall Protection Kit is an ideal way for contractors and roofers to cover their responsibilities while making the site and their team secure. OSHA's new safety requirements for residential roof work has prompted an increase in citations and site visits. It makes sense to spend the money now on safety gear instead of later on fines.
If a fall occurs, it's the
Rope Grab that will stop it. The rope grab is attached to the d-ring on the back of the worker's harness by a 32 inch shock-absorbing lanyard. If the rope begins to travel quickly through the rope grab, the cam is engaged and the teeth grab the line and arrest the fall. If the fall is over the edge of the roof line, and the pressure of the fall over 900 lbs, the lanyard is designed to ripstreach to reduce the impact on the worker.
A
5-Point Safety Harness is highly adjustable, comfortable and secure. The harness is designed to be worn easily of the outside of work clothing or overalls and to avoid chafing while working. It features two leg buckles, a chest strap and 2 torso buckles; all adjustable. Also on the back of the harness you will find a dorsal d-ring for fall arrest attachment. The harness is universal in size so it should fit most people.

50' of blended line comes complete with a snap hook at one end. The 50’ gives you plenty of length to travel around the roof with ease. The rope is strong enough to hold a heavy worker and their tool belt. The blended line is designed to resist abrasion and wear.
