Protecta AD515AG SRL - 50ft Cable w/Retrieval
Product Description
The AD515AG SRL from Protecta features a cast aluminum housing and stainless steel working components for corrosion resistance. The unit is shown here with the optional AK055A leg-mount bracket for use on a tripod, which is not included in the base price.
A reserve lifeline retention system leaves extra turns on the drum when the lifeline is fully extended for added safety. A swiveling AJ521A self-locking snap hook with impact indicator is attached to the end of the cable. The 50ft of 3/16" galvanized steel wire rope provides durability and reliable fall protection. This SRL also contains a self adjusting disc brake to keep stopping forces below 900 lbs per OSHA requirements. The built-in retrieval winch for raising/lowering personnel during emergencies adds product versatility. The winch portion of this unit is intended for rescue situations, as opposed to a heavier device for regular raising and lowering or personnel and equipment. It also exceeds all applicable industry standards including OSHA and ANSI Z359. Weighs 22 lbs.
