Product Description
The Black Rhino SRL from Miller has an aluminum housing with corrosion-resistant stainless steel internal components. It is designed with 3/16" stainless steel wire rope to endure harsh environments and resists welding sparks better than web type devices. This unit features a stainless steel swivel on the connector, and includes a plated steel locking rebar hook with a 2.5" gate opening for attachment to your anchor point. A standard locking swivel snap hook with 3/4" opening is at the end of the lifeline for attachment to your harness d-ring.
Like many of the SRLs we sell, this unit needs no annual factory recertification, lowering cost of ownership. The quick-activating stainless steel braking system arrests free falls in a minimum distance and has an internal shock absorber that consistently reduces fall forces to 900 lbs. or less per OSHA requirements. The swivel snap hook has an integral load indicator to indicate when the unit has been used in a fall, when it must be removed from service and returned for repair.
This model of the Black Rhino has been updated to meet the new ANSI Z359-2007 standards. Meets or exceeds OSHA and ANSI requirements. Weighs 5.7 lbs.
