Lad-Saf Flexible Cable Sleeve with Swivel

The Lad-Saf Flexible Cable System Sleeve from DBI/SALA is the crucial tie-on attachment for the Lad-Saf ladder safety system, which allows the clipped-on ascent or descent of tall structures (such as wind turbines or cell phone towers). The sleeve acts as a piece of fall arrest gear, locking on to the Lad-Saf cable if needed.

As part of the Lad-Saf ladder lifeline system any fall forces are distributed evenly along the length of the ladder (thanks to the tailor made nature of the system), preventing damage and safely arresting a fall.

Easily clipping on to any ladder safety line 5/16” (8mm) or 3/8” (9.25mm) in diameter, the Sleeve trails the wearer up or down the line, so you can concentrate on the job at hand, without needed to worry about repeatedly tying off while climbing.

Built from durable materials the Lad-Saf sleeve is made from galvanized steel—more than suitable for most work sites—although stainless steel options are available for coastal or offshore sites, where sea-salt exposure can speed up corrosion of the line.
