The Sampling Probe (3.3m / 10 feet in length) is one major advantage, allowing you to sample the atmosphere of remote areas before risking your safety entering them, utilizing the XT II's internal pump.
A belt holster for the hand-held gas monitor and a protective concussion boot offer extra security for the device, ensuring you have it on you comfortably at all times, and that should it be dropped, it is as safe as possible.
Fleet Manager II software allows you to download and analyze data from your day, and this is done via the IR Connectivity Kit, this also allows you to tweak various device settings that are not otherwise accessible.
All of which comes inside of a foam-lined, sturdy carry-case complete with space for the GasAlertMax XT II itself, so you can be sure it is protected, maintained and used properly for it's whole lifespan.
