DBI SALA Sealed SRL with Retrieval Winch - 130ft Stainless

The Sealed SRL series from DBI/SALA is constructed with a cast aluminum housing, 3/16" stainless steel cable and stainless internal working components for corrosion resistance. An integral retrieval winch system allows this unit to do double duty, pulling a worker back in the case of a fall or providing backup for confined space entry systems.

This unit may be ordered 2 ways:

Alone to be hung from an anchor point like any other SRL

Including the 3401065 bracket (winch-half of the DBI Quick-mount system) and 9503515 heavy duty vinyl carrying bag. This would be for use with a retrieval system such as tripod or davit.

The internal mechanical working parts are protected in a sealed section of the housing to keep dirt and other crud away. The standard reserve lifeline retention system keeps several wraps of cable on the drum when the lifeline is fully extended for added safety. A swiveling self-locking snap hook with impact indicator helps keep the line from twisting.

The 130ft x 3/16 in. stainless steel wire rope provides durability and reliable fall protection. Environmentally sealed design so that you know your SRL is functioning properly no matter how dirty, damp or harsh your environment is. The Sealed SRL also contains a self adjusting disc brake to keep arresting forces under 900 lbs, and a built in retrieval winch for raising/lowering load during emergencies for added product versatility. It also exceeds all applicable industry standards including OSHA, ANSI and the new ANSI Z359-2007. Base unit weighs 75 lbs, with the bracket and bag adding 7.4 lbs.
