DBI-SALA Tension Limiter

The Tension Limiter from DBI-SALA helps prevent on site injuries while performing personnel retrieval work with a winch or crane. The Tension Limiter operates by paying out a length of high-visibility coiled metal in the event of a worker becoming trapped or tangled during retrieval. The bright strip provides warning to the winch operator to stop and helps reduce injury on the trapped worker by limiting tension.
Features of the Tension Limiter:
The 24ft Tension Limiter extends to reduce forces on the wearer. The line here is covered in high-visibility reflective tape to alert the crane or winch operator to stop, so the problem can be assessed without injuring the user.
The unit is rated up to 310lbs.
Built wholly from stainless steel, the Tension Limiter is incredibly corrosion resistant, and also surprisingly lightweight (at only 16lbs); this level of corrosion resistance means that it can even be used in harsh maritime environments or reactive chemical plants.
