Capital Safety Protecta 1342001 Polyester Web Shock Absorbing Lanyard

Capital Safety’s Protecta 1342001 Shock Absorbing Lanyard is a 100% tie-off “Y” lanyard that features three of the AJ520A double locking snaphooks. Measuring 6 feet long, with 1-3/4 inch wide polyester webbing, this lanyard fully complies with OSHA 1926 and ANSI Z359 deceleration device standards.

Impact forces are kept below 900 pounds through the engineered tearing action of specially sewn layers of webbing in the shock pack. The result is that the lanyard will become longer in the event of a fall, to a maximum of 42 additional inches. Redundant fall protection is provided by the 100% back-up strap that is in the shock absorber unit. For easy visual inspection of the lanyard, the shock absorber unit is encased in a UV-Resistant transparent plastic.
