The BW Honeywell Gas Alert Clip Extreme CO monitor is a 2 year maintenance free monitor. It provides protection around the clock without having to do any maintenance to the monitor. Once you turn the monitor on it will stay on for the duration of the battery which is 2 years. There is no sensor replacement or calibration required. The bright LCD screen will keep you notified on how much life you have left on the monitor in months, days and hours.

Some of the sources of Carbon Monoxide include house fires, furnaces, heaters, electrical generators, propane fueled equipment, gasoline powered tools, and welders. The list can go on and on but you can get an idea of how easy it would be to be exposed. A CO monitor is vital if you are working and there is any chance you can be exposed to CO.

Monitor doesn't readout CO levels, only alerts when it registers Low and High alarm levels. Not the monitor for you if you want to know an exact reading...such as 30ppm, 37ppm and so on...
